Chris Smith (He/Him) is a fight director, teaching artist, actor, Special Effects artist, and Video Engineer. Chris was born, raised, and based out of Chicago, and is a proud member of IATSE Local 476 Studio Mechanics.

 

Chris is a Certified Teacher with the ILFDC, and an Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors. Chris has worked with theatres in Chicago such as The Factory Theater, Babes With Blades, Midsommer Flight, and more.

 

Chris is also a Founding member of Midsommer Flight, and the Resident Fight Director. When not working in theatre, Chris is often behind the scenes on Television shows such as the One Chicago series (Chicago Med, PD, and Fire), Dark Matter, and Emperor of Ocean Park.
